HÔRD are a Yorkshire based duo with a passion and skill for creating beautiful hand-crafted gifts inspired by the natural elements found in our native landscapes. They got in touch with us for a project that they had in mind for their topography collection. They wanted to make a film that told the story of one piece from that collection and the deep connection it would hold to its owner and the land. As well as also exhibiting the time and skill that they put in to producing such a piece.

So, we packed the gear and set off for the moody moors of Yorkshire, which turned out, for this shoot, to be not so moody. The filming took place over two days with Gemma and Jason guiding us to some of the favourite locations and then back to workshop in Marsden for the making. This project was a real pleasure for us to work on. Mixing together two of our favourite things, the outdoors and makers.
