National Slate Museum

The National Slate Museum in Llanberis is part of a group of museums in Wales that form Amgueddfa Cymru (Museum Wales), a charity whose aim is to tell the story of Wales through it’s heritage and communities.

We have worked with the National Slate Museum on several archive projects. Our favourite was creating these two short films that captured the skilled craft work of the Quarryman and the Blacksmith on site at Gilfach Ddu, the 19th-century workshops of the now disused Dinorwic quarry.
