‘Nid Yw’n Rhwystr / It Won’t Stop Us’ is a bilingual video campaign we produced alongside Grwp Llandrillo Menai as part of their work to support period dignity throughout the colleges and community.

With the college already implementing services to provide free sanitary products to their learners they wanted to look at how else they could tackle the issue. One of the key challenges they identified amongst young women was a drop in them participating in sport and physical activities. They wanted to get the message out there that being on your period should not stop you from doing what you love. In fact, getting a sweat on can be the best thing for it! This campaign is about encouraging and inspiring woman to be active and talk more about periods, breaking down the taboos so that no one misses out on the opportunities we are all entitled to.

For the project we produced one lead film and a series of profile films with woman discussing why it is important to exercise and what the benefits are. We also produced lots of short form promo content to support the promotion of the campaign online. Alongside filming we provided still photography to be used alongside the video content and on printed material.
